56302 makes a very rare appearence of a Class 56 hauling a freight in Devon. 56302 & 47375 dead in train and 10 TEA 'Silver Bullet's head north through Totnes at 11:27 forming the 6Z23 10:00 Burngullow to Burton on Trent Wetmore Sidings. After several years of storage in Burngullow, the wagons were heading north to have their track friendly bogies removed and will be put onto different wagons. Thursday 8th March 2012.
60163 "Tornado" doulbed headed with 66152 in DB Schnker livery head west through Totnes working Steam Dreams 1Z29 08:06 Paddington to Plymouth "The Cathedrals Express." 71000 Duke of Gloucester had originally been booked to work double headed with 60163 Tornado, but the loco was unavailble for the tour, so 66152 was used, as the train had 14 coaches on it! Sunday 10th March 2012.
The line between Exeter and Plymouth was closed for engineering work. The track just to the north of Totnes station was being renewed by the Track Renewal Train (TRT). 66616 was slowly propelled into Totnes, whilst the rear of the train around half a mile away was renewing the track. At 13:52, the loco was just entering the station. Sunday 11th March 2012.

The Track Renewal Train was split in 2 at Totnes, with the machine portion sent back to Fairwater separatly. After the first portion has left, 66616 ran round the remaing YXA concrete sleeper wagons and then departed fro Fairwater, seen crossing the River Dart. Sunday 11th March 2012. 66508 propells 15 Autoballasters westbound through the up through main and reversed into Rattery Bank. The train then pulled forward to Platform 2. The autoballasters has been drpping ballast around 1 mile north of Totnes after the Track Renewal Train has completed the track renewal. Sunday 11th March 2012.

66055 & 66169 working in multiple head north through Totnes under a shower cloud forming the 6Z35 13:04 Tavistock Junction to Westbury. Note the extra light fitted above the knuckle coupling as 66055 is one of four loco's fitted with automatic uncoupler for Lickey incline banking duties. Monday 19th March 2012.
